Data Engineer – Databricks
Contract – 6 months +
Hybrid remote, 3 days a week in Dublin, Ireland
Do you have strong data engineering experience with Databricks?
Sentinel are working with a Data and AI company who are looking for strong Databricks Data Engineers to join their team and help to build Databricks solutions for their customer base. This is an exciting time to join the company as they build out their Data capability due to high demand. The role would suit an experienced Data Engineer who has been working with Databricks products consistently and to a high level for 3+ years.
Skills & Experience:
We are looking for someone that has a strong mix of the following skills and experience:
• Strong experience in Data Engineering in a modern Cloud environment
• Consistent hands on experience working on Databricks
• Core skills in coding with SQL and Pyspark
• Previous experience implementing Databricks i.e. greenfield builds
• Knowledge around Databricks Lakehouse architecture
• Stakeholder management skills
• Self starter who can hit the ground running
Responsibilities:
As the Data Engineer you’ll be responsible for:
• Building complex data solutions for customers
• Automation and Orchestration of data using Databricks
• Writing complex Pyspark and SQL queries
• Transforming data with Delta Live Tables
• Supporting and collaborating with other teams
