Are you a strong QA tester/ Python Developer with a background in image processing who is looking for an outside IR35 contract to be a part of the shift towards automated testing.

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled QA Tester/ Python Developer to join our team and help streamline our image quality assurance process. The ideal candidate will have strong Python programming skills, experience in image processing, and a passion for automation. This role will play a key role in the current shift towards utilising AI to automate a lot of the work. Although, the workload itself is still very manual!

Key Responsibilities

  • Image Quality Assurance: Develop automated tests to verify the accuracy, consistency, and quality of images, including checking for correct logos, colours, and attributes.
  • Python Development: Write efficient and scalable Python code to extract image data from URLs, process the images, and report any issues.
  • Automation: Utilise AI and machine learning techniques to automate repetitive testing tasks and improve overall efficiency.
  • Tooling: Work effectively with Python, Databricks, and other relevant tools and systems. The team is flexible on the specific testing tooling.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with the team to identify testing requirements, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high-quality product delivery.

Required Experience

  • Strong Python programming skills, including experience with image processing libraries.
  • Experience in quality assurance testing, with a focus on image-related testing.
  • Knowledge of AI and machine learning concepts, with a preference for experience in applying them to image analysis.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience with Databricks or other cloud-based platforms.
  • Knowledge of gaming industry standards and requirements.
  • Experience with remote work arrangements.
